How to Check OPPO and Realme Warranty Status

OPPO and Realme (both owned by BBK Electronics) have strong warranty programs in South and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Here's how to verify warranty status before buying a used OPPO or Realme device, or to check your own coverage.

OPPO Warranty Check Methods

Method 1 — OPPO's Official Warranty Checker:

  1. Visit oppo.com → Support → Warranty Check (URL varies by country)
  2. For India: support.oppo.com/in/warranty-check/
  3. Enter your IMEI number and complete the verification
  4. Results show warranty status, purchase date estimate, and service entitlement

Method 2 — HeyTap/ColorOS App: Open the HeyTap app → My Services → Warranty Information

Method 3 — IMEI Check: A premium check at imeicheckpro.com includes OPPO warranty data for supported models.

Realme Warranty Check

  1. Visit realme.com/in/support (India) or your country's Realme support page
  2. Navigate to Warranty Check and enter your IMEI number
  3. Alternatively, open the Realme Link app → My Devices → select device → Warranty

OPPO and Realme Warranty Periods

  • OPPO smartphones: 1 year limited warranty (India, Southeast Asia); 2 years in EU
  • Realme smartphones: 1 year limited warranty
  • OPPO/Realme accessories: 6 months limited warranty

Finding OPPO and Realme IMEI

  • Dial *#06# on any OPPO or Realme phone
  • Settings → About Phone → IMEI
  • SIM tray: IMEI engraved on some models
  • Original box: printed on retail box barcode label

Grey Market Risk for OPPO and Realme

OPPO and Realme phones sold for the Indian market have region-specific software (ColorOS India build) and India-specific warranty. Phones imported from China or other markets may not qualify for warranty service in India and may run Chinese software builds without Google Play Services optimisation. Always verify region via IMEI check.
